It is also used for coloring silk and wool materials. It produces gray-cream color shades with the amalgamation of iron and alum. Mostly, this dye is used to create golden prints onto light and shade fabrics.
Madder
In the historic time, Madder was used in Egypt.  Madder (Rubia Cardifolia) is a good source of dye, commonly produces colorants like pink, red and orange. Moreover, Madder contains about 20 compounds of colors. Red and purple colors in the chemical blends construct a good range of natural colorants.
Alizarin

Alizarin printing is known as the most used technique in hand block printing. Red and maroon both are basic natural colors implemented as essential rudiments in hand block printing.
